
Scientific Researcher at CSIC, Lead Researcher at the Bioinformatics and Functional Genomics group (CIC-IBMCC). Javier has a Biochemistry PhD and a Molecular Biology degree at the Universidad del País Vasco, and worked for several years at the Imperial College (IC) in London University, at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine (New York) and, more recently, at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute associated to the Harvard University (Boston). On the teaching side, he was full-time Assistant Professor for 6 years for the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology of the Universidad del Pais Vasco, imparting classes in the Faculty of Sciences (Bilbao) and the Faculty of Pharmacy (Vitoria). Javier has a long experience in bioinformatics and computational analysis, focused on proteomics and transcriptomics. His publishing profime can be consulted at Google Scholar and PubMed.
